Thank you for visiting the Northstar NSP Volunteer Patrol website.
This site covers the Northstar Candidate/Transfer Training program for the upcoming season 2025-2026 based on the guidelines of the OEC 6 and local Northstar Protocols. Explore, and don’t hesitate to reach out if you have questions!
In addition, this site provides communication updates and protocol resources to our current Northstar NSP Team members.
Interested in joining our volunteer team?
If you are interested in next season, 2025-2026, you are required to have an Outdoor Emergency Care (OEC) Technician Certificate; an American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider basic life support, CPR/AED card; and be able to pass a ski or snowboard check on the mountain (which is generally held in march and December).
If you’re interested in joining our team, fill out this form, and our recruiting officer will reach out in the next few weeks.
In addition to this site—which is specific to Northstar—you can also visit nsp.org to learn more about the National Ski Patrol System.
Interested in being a full-time paid Northstar patroller (snow or bike)?
